Car shoots through the middle of the roundabout

A 48-year-old Erkelenzer lost in the night Saturday at the motorway exit Mönchengladbach-East control of his car. His journey ended after a five-meter fall into an embankment.
Friday night was the 48-year-old on his way from Mönchengladbach to Korschenbroich. At 3:10 on the clock L 390, he lost control of his Ford, he streaked across the roundabout to the motorway exit, crashed into trees and shrubs. Then it went downhill. Five feet below was that the crash which had left over from the car, standing.
The driver got off lightly. Unharmed he could free themselves from the totally destroyed car.
In order to be able to recover the wreck, the fire department had to first remove some trees and shrubs. The damage is estimated at around 6,000 euros.
Whether alcohol or fatigue were blamed for the crash, police said no.
